Here is a short selection of some of the nicer places in the city to visit.

If you want to hear more, feel free to ask at reception.  We'd be happy to show you some more of our favorite places to eat, drink and shop.

The Lobby Fizeaustraat

The Lobby Fizeaustraat

What can you expect from Cafe/Restaurant/Bar The Lobby Fizeaustraat? “Food, Drinks, Gezelligheid”. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. A contemporary 70's atmosphere, a dash of glamour, and a creative atmosphere. A nice terrace, a fantastic bar. Unbridled love of good food and drink and the crew's desire to share that with you. The finest dishes, the choicest wines, and surprising cocktails. A beautiful private dining space, and the edgy Palm Room, our underground event space.
With seating for 90, a private dining space, parking, and the bustle of the hotel, you can expect more than a restaurant. More than a bar. More than a cafe. Come and see for yourself.

The Lobby Nesplein

Address: Nes 47

Have you heard of our first restaurant, The Lobby Nesplein?  It's the O.G., found in the center of town by Dam Square in our hotel V nesplein lobby, and we think you should try it! Since its 2013 opening it has become a staple for Amsterdammers and visitors alike.  Tell them Fizeaustraat sent you!

THE LOBBY NESPLEIN

Louie Louie

Louie Louie

Address: Linnaeusstraat 11A

Website: http://www.louielouie.nl/

Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks or snacks, Louie Louie is a great new place with a good vibe and a lot of energy.

Merkelbach

Merkelbach

Address: Middenweg 72

Website http://restaurantmerkelbach.nl

One of our favorites- so much that we had a V crew party there one year.  Fresh, local and seasonal ingredients create simple but hearty dishes. Located on the edge of Park Frankendael.

Bar Bukowski

Bar Bukowski

Address: Oosterpark 10

Website http://www.barbukowski.nl/

Best for drinks but open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Corner bar with a nod (obviously) to the writer Bukowski, they also occasionally have literary events here. Definitly worth a check.

DivAmsterdam

DivAmsterdam

Address: Javastraat 8 & 100

Website: http://divamsterdam.com/

Great clothing store with super friendly personnel to help you find your perfect piece from all the coolest brands.  And located just down the street at number 100 is the ladies' location, so there's something for everyone.

Rijsel

Rijsel

Address: Marcusstraat 52

Website: http://rijsel.com/

French-Flemish dishes and rotisserie served in a modern, industrial canteen restaurant with an open kitchen.

Scheepskameel

Scheepskameel

Address: Kattenburgerstraat 7

Website: http://www.scheepskameel.nl/

New collaboration from well known restauranteurs in Amsterdam (including from Rijsel, see above). The focus is on simple, fine ingredients in a relaxed atmosphere with views over the waterfront. The small menu changes regularly, and the wine list is exclusively made up of German wines.

Restaurant C

Restaurant C

Address: Wibautstraat 125

Website: http://c.amsterdam/

What started as a pop-up centered around the varying temperature of dishes is now a classy restaurant on the Wibautstraat. Worth checking out to experience the concept, which as far as we have seen is pretty unique. Or just drop in for a cocktail at the bar.
